While describing the concept of the podcast, Marshall showed me some of his old wrestling posters. They were these super cool rough newsprint cut and paste masterpieces. The idea to create a wresting poster for the podcast emerged. I mixed and matched images of Sara and Marshall and created a newsprint texture for a gritty vintage feel. This was fun!
About the podcast: Marshall is utterly obsessed with professional wrestling. Sara is utterly perplexed by professional wrestling.
On each episode of An Unscripted Spectacle, Marshall and Sara talk with a different guest from the world of wrestling -- promoters, referees, journalists, and current and past stars of the squared circle -- to talk deeply about the strange magic of professional wrestling that has enchanted Marshall his whole life. Can they turn Sara into a fellow connoisseur of pro wrestling? She'll need some convincing.
